Trip Description

Get a sneak peak at college life while being immersed in
the culture and excitement of Barcelona! College is a time of growth and choice; why not get a head start? 360° Student Travel has teamed up with the renowned International House School in Barcelona and The Princeton Review to bring you exciting courses from Creative Writing and International Business, to Spanish Language and SAT preparation! You’ll leave with a great foundation on which to build when it’s time to go away to school. And don’t worry – you’ll have tons of choices outside the classroom too. Choose to work out or play sports; opt to stroll down Las Ramblas, relax on the beach or explore the vibrant city of Barcelona. Select your meals from local restaurants and cafes featuring paella, tapas and other delicious cuisine. You’ll leave after four weeks feeling more independent and more prepared for college life, having had the experience of living in vibrant and cultural Barcelona and making great friends along the way.

Staff Overview

360˚ Student Travel interviews each staff candidate face-to-face during the hiring process. 360˚ staff members are hired for their expertise in specific areas – you’ll find that staff members who lead each trip have relevant, extensive backgrounds and experiences. Each 360˚ Student Travel tour is headed by a trip leader who is typically in their late 20’s or early 30’s. Trip leaders are supported by staff in their early 20’s.

Safety Standards

All 360˚ Student Travel staff members take part in an extensive assortment of orientation workshops that train them in the program philosophy and procedures. Every 360˚ staff member is certified in first aid and CPR. All programs involving water activities include a certified life guard on staff at all times.

Because most 360˚ programs have been running for many years, every staff member knows key physicians and medical facilities along their route in case of illness or emergency. Each trip also has a medical representative in charge of distributing prescription medicine to campers who require it.

As a final safety precaution, 360˚ employs several program supervisors who personally check-in throughout each trip and meet with the campers and staff. Updates are relayed to 360˚’s offices that are open seven days a week to keep parents and company representatives informed of any situations that may arise.
