Trip Description

360˚ Student Travel: California Community Service is a unique community service & adventure program.

Community Service Highlights Include:
• Run day camp activities for children at Ronald McDonald House
• Prepare meals for families at Ronald McDonald House
• Work in a food bank warehouse prepping items for distribution
• Serve meals at a soup kitchen
• Build, paint, landscape with Habitat for Humanity

Recreational Highlights Include:
• Universal Studios
• Surf
• Venice Beach
• Hollywood – Mann’s Chinese Theatre
• Raging Waters Waterpark
• Work-out on campus
• Cycle & Snorkel
• San Diego Zoo

Staff Overview

360˚ Student Travel interviews each staff candidate face-to-face during the hiring process. 360˚ staff members are hired for their expertise in specific areas – you’ll find that staff members who lead each trip have relevant, extensive backgrounds and experiences. Each 360˚ Student Travel tour is headed by a trip leader who is typically in their late 20’s or early 30’s. Trip leaders are supported by staff in their early 20’s.

Safety Standards

All 360˚ Student Travel staff members take part in an extensive assortment of orientation workshops that train them in the program philosophy and procedures. Every 360˚ staff member is certified in first aid and CPR. All programs involving water activities include a certified life guard on staff at all times.

Because most 360˚ programs have been running for many years, every staff member knows key physicians and medical facilities along their route in case of illness or emergency. Each trip also has a medical representative in charge of distributing prescription medicine to campers who require it.

As a final safety precaution, 360˚ employs several program supervisors who personally check-in throughout each trip and meet with the campers and staff. Updates are relayed to 360˚’s offices that are open seven days a week to keep parents and company representatives informed of any situations that may arise.
