Camp Timber Tops is an all-girls overnight camp located on more than 350 acres of magnificent woodlands in northeastern Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. Owned and operated by the same family since 1963, Camp Timber Tops has a rich tradition dating back almost a half-century. At Camp Timber Tops, campers participate in sports, adventure, waterfront, arts, and specialty activities taught by dedicated and caring instructors.

Counselors are committed to each camper’s well-bring and welcome campers with warmth and support throughout the summer. Program Description

Camp Timber Tops has a program that allows campers to do the things they love while encouraging them to try something new. Campers can sample an extensive offering of sports, adventure, waterfront, creative arts, and individual activities.

Staff Overview

Many Timber Tops counselors are former campers who look forward to sharing the Lake Owego experience from a first-hand perspective. Most counselors are students at colleges and universities throughout the country. Some counselors are selected from Scotland, England and other countries. The average staff age is 21.

Setting & Accommodations

Campers live in spacious cabins that have hot and cold water, toilets, indoor shower stalls, smoke detectors, and fire exists. All beds have bed boards and comfortable mattresses. All bathrooms have been renovated within the past few seasons.

Safety Standards

Camp Timber Tops has a well-equipped, modern health center staffed 24 hours a day by two registered nurses and a physician.

Camp Timber Tops is accredited by the American Camp Association and meets more than 300 safety standards set forth by the organization.
