Camp White Pine offers a wide range of waterfront, land sport, creative arts, and outdoor programs to satisfy every interest. All activities are geared to the age of the camper and have full-time qualified instructors who offer encouragement and support. With a caring staff, broad range of activities, and an incredible setting, Camp White Pine provides an unforgettable camp experience for children of all ages.
Program Description
Camp White Pine is divided by age into six sections that function as mini camps. Each section has its own supervisor who has specialized knowledge of their age group. Mini camps give a small camp feel within the large overall White Pine community.
The White Pine program features a combination of structured scheduling and free-choice electives. Each day, campers attend three periods of structured activities with their cabin. In addition, campers pick two free-choice electives in areas that interest them. Finally, throughout the summer the camp offers many special and surprise events like drama nights, inter-camp games, carnivals, trips, and more.
Camp White Pine features traditional Shabbat services on Friday nights. Campers dress in white shirts, eat a traditional Jewish meal and sing cultural songs. On Saturday mornings, campers are served a buffet breakfast that includes bagels, lox, chesses, fruits, yogurt, eggs, and other delicacies. Breakfast is followed by a camp-wide sing-along.

Senior counselors are typically college students, graduate students, and teachers, all of whom have experience working with children. Campers can expect to see the same faces year-after-year as White Pine boasts an 85% return rate amongst staffers. The average staff age is 22.
