I know that there were many aspects of his stay that were well thought out and planned and that it is hard for me to know and understand every thoughtful detail that you and your staff tended to. I do know that you painstakingly match kids in bunks for the right mix of kids; and this is one example of the quality that was added at Winadu.

As you both know Jason is not the most verbally expressive person, yet driving home from father/son weekend (our 5th) Jason's ability to articulate his feelings for Shelley and camp was beautiful. While school does not come easy for Jason, the opportunity for him to have such great summers is something Stacy and I value a great deal. In a business full of headaches and complaints, I wanted to take the time to let you know how much Stacy and I value you're relationship with Jason.
You both are the best.
Enjoyed Every Bit Of Camp

It meant a lot to him and to us, and insured a smooth transition. Michael enjoyed every single bit of camp, from the sports to the food to his wonderful counselors and bunkmates (who he now refers to as brothers). We are so impressed with your attention to detail, as well as the personal attention that you always seem to have time to give.
It was wonderful for us to have Michael come home with a new level of character - and a very real understanding of respect for himself as well as for others. We look forward to many years ahead at Winadu.
Perfect Camp

His smile has been constant since the moment he walked off the camp bus, his confidence soaring and his joyous memories of camp filling many conversations. Although there were some rocky moments at the start, you never wavered in your convictions that Winadu was a perfect environment for Eric. Time validated your belief and our confidence - never in question - was rewarded. Not only was his summer an important maturing experience in Eric's development, but also an important learning experience for us in the resiliency of our son, of whom we are immensely proud. Shelley, I can honestly say I felt a sense of calm amidst my own personal ambivalence as the summer began and the reason for it was your comforting words, experience and gentle touch.
Not only are my husband and son tremendous fans of yours, I cannot think of anyone with whom I would have more confidence with our three boys. Again, thank you for all your support and especially your friendship and compassion to Eric.
