Program Description
The Linden Hill Summer Program provides a balance of academic work and traditional camp experiences. The morning program is academic in nature; participants take three focus programs for review, preview, and enrichment in subjects like language training, study skills, mathematics, communication, and ESL. Daily drill and written work are stressed while instilling campers with motivation, positive mental attitude, organization, study skills, social growth, confidence and self-esteem.
During the afternoon, campers enjoy many traditional summer camp activities. Each week, campers select two activities they would like to participate in from social, recreational, and cultural options. In addition to the two elective periods, campers get a daily free-choice period. Campers work to improve their skills and develop confidence in each of the Linden Hill School activities.
On weekends, campers enjoy trips to regional attractions and destinations. In addition to fishing, hiking, and campfire trips to Lake Laurel, campers visit amusement parks, beaches, zoos, and more.
