Choice Camps Recommendation of Pripstein's Camp Mishmar
Pripstein’s Camp Mishmar is a traditional overnight summer camp located in Canada’s beautiful Laurentian Mountains. Founded in the early 1940’s, the camp has been managed by the Pripstein and Braverman families throughout its history. The camp is known for a warm, relaxed, family atmosphere where each camper receives personal attention. This environment is promoted through the Four Stars of Pripstein’s: Family, Fitness, Friendship, and Facilities.
In 2008, Pripstein’s opened one of the most unique (and definitely one of the coolest) facilities found at a summer camp: The Ice Palace. This amazing on-site ice arena plays host to hockey games, free skates, and nightly “disco skates.” The Ice Palace is the latest in a series of one-of-a-kind facilities that truly set Pripstein’s apart from other camps throughout North America. Families will also be impressed by the indoor heated pool, 6,000 square foot “Skydome” gymnasium, and 19,000 square foot “Thunderdome” recreation center.
For campers looking for a well-rounded traditional overnight camp experience highlighted by ground-breaking all-weather facilities, Pripstein’s Camp Mishmar may be the perfect choice.
