Since 1985, Rein Teen Tours has been attracting teenagers from around the world who are anxious to make new friends and try new things. Designed with young people in mind, every trip contains a blend of outdoor fun, local sightseeing, unique activities, and evening entertainment. Each tour is carefully planned to run at a leisurely pace, allowing travelers to enjoy everything they see and do.

On the road, campers travel by deluxe motor coach and stay in centrally located hotels, campgrounds, and dorms. Highly experienced trip leaders make sure that travelers, many of whom come by themselves, are comfortable within their group by the end of the first day.

With amazing itineraries, great food, and an awesome staff, Rein Teen Tours allow you to experience everything without sacrificing time, comfort, fun, or excitement.

Trip Description

Rein Europe, our traveling European student teen tour experience begins as we travel together to London. Here we'll stay at the Hilton London Olympia, our hotel while we explore this city laden with age-old royal tradition. We visit the trendy areas of Notting Hill, the designer boutiques of Oxford Street and Knightsbridge, and Harrod's, the world famous department store. Theatre Performance in London's famed West End, visits to Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey, and Parliament are among the many tour activities. See the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, marvel at the Crown Jewels, and enjoy a fantastic dinner at the Original Hard Rock Café. Visit Oxford University, the oldest university in the English-speaking world, and try your skill at punting. Our tour continues as we travel through the Chunnel to France.

The next stop on our European Teen Tour is Paris, where our hotel, the Marriott Rive Gauche, is situated next to Montparnasse and the Latin Quarter. We'll go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, view the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, and see the works of Monet and Van Gogh at Musee d'Orsay. Next we'll hear the chimes at Notre Dame, climb the Arc de Triomphe, and stop off at a café on one of the most beautiful avenues in the world, Champs-Elysées. After roaming the vast gardens at the Palace of Versailles and enjoying the rides at Disneyland Paris, our student European Teen Tour is off to Switzerland.

Our teen travelers continue through the majestic Swiss Alps to reach the Hotel Ambassador, nestled amongst beautiful alpine lakes and enchanting ice-blue glaciers in Zermatt. The teens will have Professionally Guided Summer Snow Skiing and Snowboarding on the Matterhorn or will take an Alpine Gondola Ride to experience a personal breathtaking view of this serene environment. On our Glacier Grotto Tour, trek through an actual cave carved in the glacial ice.

Staff Overview

The Rein Teen Tours staff is comprised primarily of teachers and graduate students with extensive expertise working with young people. Many staff members are Rein alumni who are excited to pass their experiences down to another group of travelers. A high return rate amongst staff guarantees quality leaders who are familiar with teen tours and creating a dynamic trip experience every time out.

The Rein staff is selected through a highly competitive application process based on the strength of references and personal interviews. All teen tour staff members attend Rein’s professional training workshops where emphasis is placed on the safety and well-being of each traveler.

Safety Standards

All Rein Teen Tour leaders are trained in basic first aid and CPR. In addition, all trip leaders carry cell phones in case of emergency.

While trips are in session, the Rein Summer Communications Center is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week by a team dedicated to monitoring tours on the road. The Communications Center can field questions from concerned parents, or dispatch help if anything unexpected happens on tour.

As a final precaution, company directors visit tours as they travel to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
