Sailing and SCUBA teen trips, sometimes called teen sailing summer camps, offer middle, high school, and college age students hands-on sailing, SCUBA diving, and marine biology adventures throughout the world. Programs are available for beginning, intermediate, and advanced sailors and SCUBA divers. On most sailing and SCUBA teen trips, students live aboard catamaran sailing yachts that travel to various islands and popular destinations. Living aboard a yacht, students form tight friendships with their shipmates and learn the essentials of safety, navigation, and operating a vessel. Popular destinations include the Caribbean, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Mediterranean Sea, Dominican Republic, and Latin America. Students leave sailing and SCUBA teen tours with increased confidence on the water, valuable new skills, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Ages, Dates, Trip Length, and Tuition Rates of Sailing & SCUBA Teen Trips

Most sailing and SCUBA teen trips offer departure dates in June, July, and August. Teen sailing adventures can be as short as 14 days and as long as 35 days (about 2 weeks to 5 weeks in length). While each trip varies, most trips welcome travelers between the ages of 12 and 18.

Sailing and SCUBA teen tours can range in tuition from $3,500 to $9,500. In most cases, airfare and insurance is not included in the tuition price. It's important to check with each tour provider to see if there are additional costs involved.
