Choice Camps Recommendation of Windsor Mountain International: Bridge Caribbean
Windsor Mountain Student Travel: Bridge Caribbean is designed for students interested in traveling to an exciting destination to share in cross-cultural experiences, community service learning, and leadership development. The program typically attracts students who are interested in working with younger children and are eager to teach and share new sports, games, theater, dance, arts, crafts, music and other creative activities. Students who have had some leadership experience in their school, community, or summer camp will excel on this program, and should arrive with an open mind, prepared to meet new people, experience new cultures, try new foods, and have fun at the beach!
Trip Description
In this tropical paradise, Windsor Mountain students take time to get to know the people and culture of the islands, and then design and implement two signature Windsor Mountain Friendship Camps. Expert leaders guide students as they teach sports, arts, games and songs. The trip’s collaborative effort requires that participants work as a team, learn from others, bring ideas to life, teach activities, and challenge themselves as they share their skills and passions. The core of the Bridge Caribbean program is a perfect blend of leadership training, cultural exchange, service learning, and outdoor fun.
