Choice Camps Recommendation of Windsor Mountain International: Bridge Mexico

Windsor Mountain Student Travel: Bridge Mexico is designed for students interested in traveling to an exciting destination to share in cross-cultural experiences, community service learning, and language opportunities. Students should join this program ready to immerse themselves in local culture as they connect with their Spanish-speaking peers on travel excursions and community service projects. Students should be prepared to meet new people, experience new cultures, try new foods, and show up with an open mind.

Trip Description

Lush mountains, valleys and coastal plains dotted with waterfalls, lakes, and breathtaking cloud forests create the perfect setting for an exciting and challenging summer of service work, cultural immersion, and outdoor adventure. Work alongside Mexican students to repair, paint and improve their school facilities. Help organize an annual Humanitarian Brigade that provides basic medical care to over one thousand people. Create a Friendship Camp for local children including sports, new games, and arts and crafts. Spend quality time living with host families practicing Spanish and enjoying music, dance, and fantastic home cooking. Experienced Windsor Mountain leaders facilitate a well-crafted and exciting cultural odyssey. Spanish
Colonial cities, tiny mountain villages, bustling urban centers, and everything between—the breadth and depth of Mexican culture awaits the ambitious student ready for a summer of learning and adventure south of the border.
